Achim Hermann Hölter (born 1960, Germany) has been Professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Vienna since 2009, after serving as C4-Professor at the University of Münster (1997-2009). He leads the FWF project "Ludwig Tieck’s Library" and has published extensively on Romanticism, literary historiography, canon formation, and the intersection of literature with libraries and the arts.
