Paula Wojcik

Paula Wojcik is an Associate Professor at the Department of European and Comparative Literature and Language Studies, University of Vienna. She specializes in intermediality, cultural iconography, and comparative world literature frameworks.

• Research Focus: Intermediality, digital humanities, Jewish literature, migration narratives, and postcolonial discourses
• Key Themes: Premediation of refugee stories, cultural mobility of literary characters, and transnational reception of German classics
• Recent Publications: 15 major works from 2022-2025 analyzing topics like Wikipedia's literary character republic and metanarratives in German-Polish borderlands
