Abigail Cynamon

Abigail Cynamon is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Benjamin L. Crump College of Law, St. Thomas University. She serves as a judge in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Miami-Dade County, having been elected in 2008. Her judicial roles include service in Juvenile, Appellate, Civil, and Family Divisions, and she was Administrative Judge of the Appellate Division from 2011 to 2017. Since 2018, she has been a Track Leader for the Florida Conference of Circuit Judges, organizing educational programs for judges statewide.

Educated at Barnard College (A.B. in History and Economics), the University of Miami School of Law (J.D.), and an LL.M. in Taxation, her expertise spans legal practice and judicial administration. She actively participates in legal organizations, including the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (as Past President), Cuban American Bar Association, and Florida Association for Women Lawyers.
