Amber Tracey is an Assistant Professor of Legal Writing at the Benjamin L. Crump College of Law, St. Thomas University. She holds a B.A. from Florida International University and a J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law. Her expertise focuses on legal writing, research, and judicial ethics. Previously, she served as a Senior Legal Advisor for Miami-Dade County, advising on judicial ethics and case management, and directed the Research and Analysis Division for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.
Professor Tracey has extensive experience in supervising legal research projects, developing CLE/CJE courses on judicial ethics, and co-authoring the Supreme Court of Florida-approved Civil Traffic Hearing Officer Education Manual. She is admitted to practice law in Florida and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
