Robert T. Watson is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Benjamin L. Crump College of Law, St. Thomas University. He currently serves as a Judge of the Miami-Dade Circuit Court, appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis in 2020. His judicial roles include presiding over civil and felony criminal cases. Watson holds a B.S. from Georgetown University (summa cum laude) and a J.D. from Stanford Law School.
His career spans federal prosecution (2011–2016 at the U.S. Attorney’s Office), white-collar defense at Kobre & Kim, and commercial litigation. He teaches Criminal Procedure courses at St. Thomas University, including Criminal Procedure I: Investigations (2024).
