Abel Vlasblom is a researcher at the Institute for Risk Assessment Sciences (IRAS) within the Veterinary Medicine Department of Utrecht University. His work focuses on preventing the transmission of Livestock-Associated Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (LA-MRSA) from pigs to humans through competitive exclusion strategies in nasal microbiomes.
