Abel Dadi

Dr. Abel Dadi is an active researcher at the Centre for Child Development and Education (CCDE) within Menzies School of Health Research, specializing in maternal and child health research using large-scale administrative data. His work spans childhood development, school outcomes, and perinatal mental health.

He actively contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals through his work on maternal and child health.

His recent publications demonstrate expertise in systematic reviews and meta-analyses across maternal health, cardiovascular risk, and neonatal outcomes, with particular emphasis on low and middle-income countries. His work frequently addresses health inequalities and evidence-based interventions.

Dr. Dadi currently co-supervises PhD students and has extensive experience mentoring health science students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He collaborates internationally, particularly with Ethiopian institutions including University of Gondar.
