Bereket Duko is a Senior Research Fellow at Torrens University Australia's Centre for Public Health, Equity and Human Flourishing. He holds a PhD in Epidemiology from Curtin University (2022) and an Adjunct Research Fellow position at Curtin University. His research focuses on epidemiological methodologies applied to maternal and child health, including prenatal exposures' effects on offspring mental health and life-course outcomes. He has published over 105 articles in leading journals, with a focus on systematic reviews and meta-analyses addressing public health disparities, maternal obesity impacts, and migration-related health issues. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in health equity and global health challenges. He completed a Master's in Public Health/Mental Health at Gondar University (2014) and a Graduate Certificate in Epidemiology from The University of Queensland.
