Demeke Mesfin Belay

Demeke Mesfin Belay is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health Nursing at Debre Tabor University, Ethiopia, and a PhD candidate at Charles Darwin University’s Menzies School of Health Research, Australia. His expertise spans maternal and child health, chronic/infectious diseases, and mental health. He has over two years of clinical experience in Ethiopia’s districts and has contributed to curriculum development at Debre Tabor University. His PhD project investigates maternal mental health-related hospitalizations in Australia’s Northern Territory and their impact on child outcomes.
