Lecturer
Panna Karlinger is a Lecturer in Education at Aberystwyth University's School of Education. She holds a PhD in Education (2019-2024) and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate modules focusing on education theory, curriculum development, and safeguarding. Her research interests include Technology-Enhanced Learning, AI in education, autism, play therapy, and cyberbullying in higher education. She is part of the Wales Collaborative for Learning Design (WCLD), exploring VR and AI applications in education. Karlinger has received multiple awards, including the Exemplary Course Awards (2023/2024) and was named Lecturer of the Year (2021). Her teaching responsibilities span UG programs (e.g., ED13620, ED20820) and PGT modules (e.g., EDM2720). She also coordinates outreach activities, peer guidance schemes, and serves as a Year 1 tutor and personal tutor. Karlinger’s work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in advancing quality education (SDG 4) through innovative pedagogical approaches. Research highlights include studies on TPACK among international teachers and content analyses of technology use in mathematics education.
