Dr. Danielle C. Ompad is a Professor of Epidemiology at New York University, specializing in urban health, HIV/AIDS, illicit drug use, and infectious diseases. Her work focuses on social determinants of health, particularly among marginalized populations. She is affiliated with the Fogarty-funded New York State International Training and Research Program and collaborates with institutions in Ukraine and India to address public health challenges.
