Matthew A. Aubourg serves as a Research Associate at Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School of Public Health within the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering. He maintains primary affiliations with the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future (CLF) and the Center for Community Health: Addressing Regional Maryland Environmental Determinants of Disease (CHARMED).
Dr. Aubourg holds an MSPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (2023) and a BS from the University of Notre Dame (2021). His research focuses on community-driven approaches to environmental health and justice issues, with particular emphasis on translating research into actionable community interventions.
His scholarly work demonstrates expertise in environmental justice concerns, industrial air pollution, malaria vector exposure patterns, and pandemic response strategies in global contexts. His research methodology emphasizes community co-creation and capacity building to address environmental health disparities.
