Dr. Subas Dhakal is an Associate Professor at the University of New England (UNE) Business School, specializing in Strategy and Sustainability. With a PhD from Murdoch University, his research focuses on applying sustainability policies to solve economic, environmental, and social challenges in the Asia-Pacific region. His primary research areas include Strategy, Management, Organisational Behaviour (FoR 3507) and Policy Administration (FoR 4407). Research interests span ageing populations, future of education/employment, and socio-economic resilience in sustainable development. He has secured grants worth ~AU$450,000 and serves as Regional Representative for ANZAM and Editorial Board Member for FIIB Business Review. His publications analyze trends in education technology, workforce dynamics, and sustainable development. Key projects include UNE’s Distributed Teaching Model (2023) and DFAT-funded Capacity Building for Women Entrepreneurs in Indonesia (2020). PhD Supervision: Corporate Social Responsibility in Saudi Arabia, Innovative Enterprises, and Diversity Equality/Inclusion. Awards: Postdoctoral Fellowship (CRN Programme), Best Paper Award at ANZAM 2018.
