Henna-Kaisa Wigren is a University Lecturer at the Molecular and Integrative Biosciences Research Programme within the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences at the University of Helsinki. Her research focuses on the intersection of neurosciences , biomedicine , and physiology , with particular emphasis on sleep regulation and its neurobiological mechanisms. Earlier works (2016-2020) examine anesthesia effects on brain proteomes, sleep homeostasis, and neurotrophic factor signaling.
