Dr. Moustafa Bayoumi is Professor of English at Brooklyn College, City University of New York, specializing in postcolonial literature and theory, American studies, and journalism. His award-winning publications include 'How Does It Feel To Be a Problem?: Being Young and Arab in America' and 'This Muslim American Life,' both recipients of the Arab American Book Award for Non-Fiction. His research examines representations of Muslim and Arab identities within American cultural and political discourse, with particular attention to media narratives and post-9/11 societal impacts.
