Nicole Adler

Prof. Nicole Adler is a Full Professor of Operations Research at the Hebrew University Business School and former Dean (2021–2024). She holds a Visiting Professorship as TU Dresden Senior Fellow at the Chair of Economics, supervised by Prof. Georg Hirte. Her research focuses on game theory, efficiency estimation, and transport market dynamics, with specializations in automated vehicles, air traffic management, and infrastructure policy.

• Education: Ph.D. (Operations Research, Tel Aviv University), M.Sc. (London School of Economics), B.Sc. (University of Ulster).
• Editorial Roles: Associate Editor of Transportation Research Part B, Operations Research (INFORMS), and member of editorial boards for Journal of Air Transport Management and others.

Research Interests: Combines optimization, microeconomics, and spatial analysis to address transport challenges. Current projects explore automated vehicle market regulation, urban air mobility, and environmental impacts of aviation. Collaborates with EU-funded consortia like COMPAIR and BigData4ATM.

Teaching and Advising: Leads a research group advising doctoral students and hosting visiting scholars like Gerben de Jong. Teaches courses in big-data analytics, operations management, and productivity modeling.
