Ana Maria Ducasse is a Senior Lecturer at RMIT University's School of Global, Urban and Social Studies, specializing in Applied Linguistics. She coordinates the Spanish Program and teaches language studies across proficiency levels. Her research focuses on language assessment, feedback practices, and bilingual education.ducasse holds a Doctorate in Research, Society and Culture from the University of Melbourne (2009) and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Monash University (1983). She is a Fellow of HERDSA and has received multiple teaching awards, including the Vice-Chancellor's Award for Teaching Excellence. Ducasse is deeply involved in professional organizations like ALTAANZ and ILTA, and leads the Spanish Resource Centre in Melbourne. Her work emphasizes multilingual community engagement and pedagogical innovation in higher education.
