Dr. Dean Kruckeberg is a tenured full professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte's Department of Communication Studies. He specializes in international public relations and ethics, with a focus on global PR education and media integrity. His career includes leadership roles such as Executive Director of the Center for Global Public Relations (2008–2013) and Co-Chair of the Commission on Public Relations Education (1997–2012). Education: B.A. in English (Wartburg College, 1969), M.A. in Journalism (Northern Illinois University, 1974), Ph.D. in Mass Communications (University of Iowa, 1985). Professional Affiliations: Fellow of PRSA (since 1990), member of PRSA Global Affairs Task Force, and advisor to the Inez Y. Kaiser Memorial Scholarship. His research explores international PR ethics, global media transparency, and cross-cultural communication.
