Mitchell Lovett is the Senior Associate Dean of Education and Innovation at the Simon Business School, University of Rochester, and holds the Benjamin Forman Professor of Marketing title. He joined Simon in 2008 after earning his PhD in Marketing from Duke University. His administrative leadership includes launching the AI Initiative and developing the Online Master’s in Business Analytics and Applied AI. Education: PhD in Marketing from Duke University (2008). Research Interests: Professor Lovett focuses on quantitative marketing, political marketing, retail strategy, and advertising. Key areas include consumer learning, brand equity, and the impact of political advertising on voter behavior. His work combines structural econometrics, Bayesian methods, and causal inference to solve marketing challenges. Recent projects explore influencer marketing in video games, voter turnout dynamics, and entertainment brand development. Awards & Recognition: William F.
