Prof. Dr. Manuela Bojadžijev holds a full professorship in "Culture and Lifestyles in an Immigration Society" at Humboldt University Berlin's Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research (BIM), where she heads the Department of Migration in a Global Perspective. Previously, she served as professor for Globalized Cultures at Leuphana University Lüneburg (2015-2020). Her research examines migration through globalized and digital lenses , with emphasis on societal narratives of migration, transformation of mobility patterns, racism dynamics, and intersections of digitalization/logistics with urban spaces. Current projects include: Transforming Solidarities: Praktiken und Infrastrukturen in der Migrationsgesellschaft (Berlin University Alliance) CHANSE: Social Life of XG – Digital infrastructures and sovereignty Night spaces: migration, culture and Integration in Europe (HERA Programme) She teaches courses like "Migration Matters" and co-curates interdisciplinary projects including the "Archiv der Flucht" at Haus der Kulturen der Welt.
