Minghan Hu

Dr. Minghan Hu is a Group Leader in the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering at ETH Zurich, leading the Gruppe Pané Vidal. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research (2019) and conducted postdoctoral research at ETH Zurich's Laboratory for Soft Materials and Interfaces. His research focuses on developing smart soft materials for biomedical applications, such as intelligent micromachines and self-reporting microcapsules. Since 2024, his group has been supported by a SNSF Ambizione Grant to advance programmable materials and microfluidic systems.
