Pong C Yuen is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Associate Dean of Science Faculty at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). He earned his B.Sc. (1989) from City Polytechnic of Hong Kong and Ph.D. (1993) from The University of Hong Kong. His academic career at HKBU spans since 1993, including a six-year term as Department Head (2011–2017). Dr. Yuen's research focuses on video surveillance , human face recognition , and biometric security and privacy .
