Yury Redutskiy is an Associate Professor in Quantitative Logistics at Molde University College, part of the Faculty of Logistics. He holds a PhD in Logistics (2017) from Molde University College, focusing on strategic planning for smart solutions in the oil and gas industry. His academic background includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, specializing in automation and process control for industrial facilities in the oil and gas sector. Education: PhD in Logistics (2017), Master’s (2011) and Bachelor’s (2009) in Automation and Control from Gubkin University. Research Interests: Logistics optimization, industrial safety, risk management, data science, energy efficiency, and smart solutions for the oil and gas industry. Teaching: Courses include Energy Analytics, Operational Risk Analysis, and Petroleum Logistics. He is a member of the Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe (ALICE) and the University of the Arctic (UArctic). His research focuses on safety systems design, maintenance planning for remote oil and gas facilities, and sustainable energy logistics. Over 10+ peer-reviewed articles address topics like safety instrumented systems, employee scheduling, and waste management infrastructure planning. Key Projects: Arctic Logistics UTFORSK-project (Norway-Brazil collaboration), infrastructure planning for cooking oil waste. Advising: Supervised 11 master’s theses and 1 bachelor’s thesis in logistics, risk management, and safety systems. He contributes to the Energy Logistics Research Group (EneLog) and promotes interdisciplinary collaboration in logistics and energy sectors.
