Dr Bahman Ghiassi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Birmingham's School of Engineering. His research focuses on innovative construction materials, including masonry, cementitious composites, and repair techniques, with an emphasis on durability, resilience, and computational modeling. He holds a PhD in Structural Engineering (2013), MSc in Structural Engineering/Earthquake Engineering (2009), and BSc in Civil Engineering (2006).
