María Soledad Gil Nobajas is a Professor of Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Deusto. She holds a PhD in Law with 'Doctor Europeus' distinction and received the Ignacio Ellacuría Award for her thesis. Her work focuses on economic criminal law, corporate criminal liability, business corruption, and international criminal law. Current affiliations: University of Deusto (Faculty of Law, Department of Public Law) Research fellowships: Universidad Carlos III (Madrid), Paris X-Nanterre (France), Albert-Ludwig (Germany) Research Interests : Specializes in corporate criminal liability, business corruption, and international criminal law. Her work examines Spanish and comparative regulations, judicial responses to economic crimes, and the intersection of corporate responsibility with human rights. Scientific Awards : Ignacio Ellacuría Award for best doctoral thesis (2012) Projects : Leads research on 'Penal Law in Post-Pandemic Eras' (2021-2022), 'Constitutional Economic Law' (2022-2025), and 'Digital Justice' (2021-2022). Holds roles in editorial boards and academic councils. Labs/Teams : Collaborates with international research groups on corporate accountability, contributes to Aristos Campus Mundus initiatives, and participates in EU criminal law harmonization projects.
