Chih Hung Lo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology and Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program at Syracuse University's College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration and neuroinflammation, with emphasis on autophagy, lysosomal dysfunction, and receptor signaling in Alzheimer's disease and multiple sclerosis. They combine interdisciplinary approaches to study receptor structure-function and protein dynamics for biosensor engineering and high-throughput drug screening , with strong focus on nanomedicine for brain targeting .
