Dr. Eve Tsai is a Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Ottawa, holding cross-appointments in Cellular and Molecular Medicine and affiliation with the Brain and Mind Research Institute (BMRI). She is also a practicing neurosurgeon at The Ottawa Hospital, specializing in spinal disorders and spinal cord injury repair. Her academic roles include leadership positions in graduate studies and research institutions. Education: MD (University of Toronto), PhD in Neurosciences (University of Toronto), Fellowship in Spine Surgery (Cleveland Clinic). Subspecialty training in spinal surgery. Research Interests: Focus on spinal cord repair strategies, axonal regeneration, MRI imaging of spinal cord tracts, and clinical outcomes post-surgery.
