Colleen K. Worthington is a Clinical Professor and Director of Clinical Education in Speech-Language Pathology at the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences, University of Maryland, College Park. With over 25 years of clinical experience, she co-authored a textbook on speech-language pathology treatment principles and developed a widely adopted phonological awareness curriculum for school systems. She teaches graduate courses such as Diagnostic Procedures in Speech-Language Pathology and Speech Production Disorders Across the Lifespan, and serves on the campus-wide Advisory Board for Professional Track Faculty. Degree: MS in Speech-Language Pathology (Loyola College, Baltimore, MD) Undergraduate: University of Maryland, College Park Her research and professional work focus on diagnostic methodologies, speech production disorders, and phonological awareness in early childhood language development.
