Michael Taylor is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University. He has taught the 15-112 Fundamentals of Programming and Computer Science course since 2018. His research focuses on low-cost air quality sensing, sensor calibration, data visualization, and technology literacy. He co-founded Airviz Inc. to provide affordable air quality monitoring and established Sylvia's Sisters to address educational disparities through menstrual supply provision.
