Mateusz Wojtyński is a Lecturer and PhD student at the Film and Television Directing Department of The Leon Schiller National Film School in Łódź, where he also graduated in Film Editing in 2017. He is an active member of the Polish Association of Film Editors (PSM). Wojtyński's career spans both academic and professional domains, with extensive work in film editing across feature films, documentary films, and television series. His research interests focus on visual narrative techniques, documentary filmmaking, and the intersection of academic film study with professional practice. His recent work shows a strong emphasis on documentary filmmaking, particularly with "FLOWERS OF UKRAINE" which received multiple international awards. His editing style emphasizes emotional depth, narrative coherence, and humanistic storytelling that connects with audiences on a profound level.
