Maria Pilar Alvarez Carrera

María Pilar Álvarez Carrera is a Full Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Carlos III University of Madrid, where she directs the University Master's Degree in Documentary and Reportage. She leads the research group TECMERIN (Television-Cinema: Memory, Representation and Industry) and is affiliated with the University Institute of Spanish Cinema.
