Dr. Ben Roberts is a Senior Lecturer in Healthy Buildings Research at Loughborough University's School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering. His work focuses on thermal comfort, indoor air quality, and climate resilience in buildings, with a particular emphasis on mitigating overheating and improving public health in both temperate and tropical climates. He leads projects like the ROMMA initiative and the REFIT program, which investigate building performance in the UK and Ghana. His research has earned awards such as the CIBSE Carter Bronze Medal and an EPSRC fellowship.
