Dr. Meena Rafiq is a Senior Clinical Research Fellow and Academic General Practitioner (GP) at University College London (UCL), affiliated with the Behavioural Science and Health department. Her primary role involves accelerating cancer diagnosis through analysis of primary care data. She completed a PhD in early cancer diagnosis at UCL and an MSc in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She holds multiple prestigious fellowships including NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowships and a Royal Marsden Partners Fellowship.
Her research interests span clinical oncology, epidemiology, and data science, with a focus on leveraging electronic health records to optimize diagnostic pathways.
