Andrea Lasagni is a Full Professor of Economic Policy at the Department of Economics and Management, University of Parma. His research focuses on immigrant entrepreneurship, multicultural firms, intangible assets, and high-growth companies, with a particular emphasis on Italy. Doctorate in Economics, University of Pavia MSc in International Economics, University of Sussex Bachelor in Economics, University of Pavia Lasagni’s research has evolved over time, starting with international trade flows (1996-2002), progressing to territorial economies and ICT impacts (2006-2011), and later focusing on firm growth dynamics (2011-2013) and immigrant entrepreneurship (2013-2018). Recent work includes analyzing migration-driven economic hybridism and intangible assets. His publications span journals like Research Policy , Industry & Innovation , and Entrepreneurship & Regional Development , covering themes such as multicultural firm behavior, recession resilience, and organizational models. Articles often intersect economics, sociology, and regional development. Phare-Ace Project Fellowship (European Union) Coordination of the University of Parma’s Quality Assurance Group (PQD) Lasagni has taught Macroeconomics, Industrial Economics, and Microeconomics.
