Dr. Arash Habibi Lashkari serves as Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of New Brunswick (UNB) and Research Manager of the Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity (CIC). With over 22 years of combined academic and industry experience, he develops cutting-edge technologies for cyberattack protection and threat detection. His educational qualifications include: BCS from Islamic Azad University (IAU) MCS from University of Malaya (UM) PhD from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Post-Doctoral studies at University of New Brunswick (UNB) Research focuses on advanced cybersecurity analytics with emphasis on big data security, malware detection, and dark web analysis. His work integrates Internet traffic analysis with real-world threat intelligence to generate actionable cybersecurity datasets for defensive systems. Major recognitions include international medal achievements in security competitions and selection among Canada's Top 150 Researchers. His awards demonstrate exceptional contributions to practical cybersecurity solutions.
