Fei Tan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Saint Louis University's Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Indiana University, with additional graduate training in Mathematics and Economics, and a B.A. in Economics from Zhejiang University in China. Ph.D. in Economics, Indiana University M.A. in Mathematics, Indiana University M.A. in Economics, Indiana University B.A in Economics, Zhejiang University-Hangzhou, China Dr. Tan's research focuses on macroeconomic modeling, Bayesian statistical methods, evolutionary dynamics, and emerging areas like crypto economics and machine learning applications in economics. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with empirical econometric tools. His publications include methodological contributions to Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) models, frequency-domain approaches to macroeconomic dynamics, and analyses of financial distress impacts on fiscal inflation. These works often integrate computational economics with statistical innovations. Dr. Tan has received multiple honors, including the Faculty Research Best Paper Annual Award (2022) and the Henry M.
