Chiara Bellini is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair for Graduate Studies in the Department of Bioengineering at Northeastern University's College of Engineering. Her research focuses on cardiovascular disease mechanisms, particularly cell-mediated growth and remodeling processes affecting tissue mechanics. She leads studies on cardiopulmonary outcomes from smoke exposure and innovative optical monitoring techniques for metastatic cancer cells.
