Sjoerd Huisman is an Assistant Professor in the Methodology & Statistics unit at Leiden University's Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences. He specializes in teaching statistics to psychology and artificial intelligence students and conducts research on non-linear dimension reduction methods. Huisman is also actively involved in promoting open science practices and contributes to the Grafiekpolitie , a visualization-focused initiative within Leiden University's fact-checking group.
