Jenna Pandeli is an Associate Professor in Organisation Studies at the Faculty of Business and Law, University of the West of England, Bristol. She is affiliated with the Department of Business and Management and actively contributes to research, teaching, and public engagement in critical organisational issues. Her research interests include: Prison Labour and Rehabilitation Invisible Forms of Work Maternity Leave and Motherhood in Organisations Ethnography and Qualitative Research Methods Business Ethics and Critical Management Studies Workplace Humour Jenna's recent publications focus on the exploitation and invisibility of prison labour and the unpaid work of mothers on maternity leave, particularly during the pandemic. Her work bridges academic research with public discourse, often addressing ethical and social justice dimensions of work. The dominant themes across her articles include critical organisational analysis, labour rights, and qualitative methodologies applied to marginalised work experiences. Her scientific recognition includes: SAGE Prize for Excellence and Innovation (2020) for her article in Work, Employment and Society Jenna is actively involved in research projects and supervises postgraduate students in her areas of expertise. She collaborates with charities like Project Remake to deliver enterprise education for formerly incarcerated individuals.
