Peter Schauenburg is a Professor at the Institut de Mathématiques de Bourgogne (UMR 5584 CNRS), Université de Bourgogne, affiliated with the Faculty of Sciences Mirande. His office is located in the Mirande Building (Wing A, Office 324) at 9 avenue Alain Savary in Dijon. He can be contacted via email at peter.schauenburg@u-bourgogne.fr. His research focuses on advanced topics in algebra and category theory, including: Hopf algebras, bialgebras, and quantum group structures Fusion categories and modular tensor categories Frobenius-Schur indicators and their generalizations Drinfeld doubles and representation theory Monoidal categories and their applications Schauenburg's publication record spans over three decades, with recent work exploring topological invariants of modular categories, factorization properties of Hopf algebras, and computational aspects of Frobenius-Schur indicators. His research frequently intersects with theoretical physics through connections to topological quantum field theories. He maintains an active online presence through his personal homepage and has organized academic events including the 2013 Workshop on Fusion Categories at IMB Dijon. His computational work includes extensive datasets on Frobenius-Schur indicators for symmetric groups.
