Alline Beleigoli is a Senior Research Fellow at Flinders University's College of Medicine and Public Health in Adelaide, Australia, where she contributes to the Country Heart Attack Prevention (CHAP) project (NHMRC Partnership GNT 1169893). She also holds Full Member status in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute. Previously, she served as an adjunct professor in Internal Medicine at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil from 2012-2018. As a medical doctor and researcher, Dr. Beleigoli specializes in clinical and epidemiological aspects of cardiovascular diseases, obesity prevention, behavior change, and telehealth/digital health interventions. Her work significantly contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being, with particular focus on innovative models of care for vulnerable populations including homebound individuals and those in low socioeconomic neighborhoods. With an h-index of 16 and 955 citations across 99 research outputs from 2009-2025, Dr. Beleigoli's research productivity has increased substantially in recent years, with 16 publications in 2025 alone.
