Beatriz Martín García is a postdoctoral researcher at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in Genova since March 2014, specializing in the preparation and characterization of nanomaterials. She holds an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering (2008) and a Ph.D. from the University of Salamanca (2013) focused on self-assembled systems of nanomaterials on Langmuir-Blodgett films. Her research spans 2D materials , quantum nanosystems , and colloid-interface interactions , with expertise in polymer-assisted nanoparticle assembly and surfactant-mediated surface functionalization. Recent work explores THz technology, solar cells, and photoluminescence dynamics of quantum dot films. She has contributed to multiple publications in journals like Langmuir , ChemPhysChem , and The Journal of Physical Chemistry C , often applying the Langmuir-Blodgett technique to study advanced material morphologies. Collaborations include institutions such as the Complutense University of Madrid , Polytechnic University of Madrid , and Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon.
