Igor Sîretanu is an Assistant Professor in the Physics of Complex Fluids Group at the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Twente, Netherlands. His research focuses on solid-liquid interfacial phenomena and surface functionalization at microscopic scales to control macroscopic behaviors like wetting, adsorption, colloidal interactions, and CO₂ capture.
