Alexis Wright is a Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Tufts University School of Medicine, serving as Program Director for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. She holds a PhD from the University of Otago (2010), DPT from Duke University (2006), and BS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2003). Her research focuses on orthopaedic physical therapy, diagnostic accuracy, treatment effectiveness, and physical therapy education. Key areas include musculoskeletal injury prevention, clinical outcomes of manual therapy, and health equity in healthcare education.
