Andrew Hammond is a Senior Lecturer in Engineering (Geoscience) at the School of Engineering and Technology, Central Queensland University. He holds degrees from the University of Tasmania, University of Canterbury/Lincoln College, and Massey University. His career spans roles as a government scientist, researcher, consultant, and educator across multiple institutions including Griffith University, QUT, and The University of Queensland. He leads geoscience research and previously managed CQUniversity's Mining & Geoscience programs. Research interests include stratigraphy, quaternary paleoclimate, landscape evolution, and environmental geoscience.
