Professor Deividas Staponkus is a faculty member specializing in Vocal Performance and Chamber Singing, with an international career spanning over 15 countries including Armenia, Austria, Denmark, and the USA. As a baritone, he has performed as a guest soloist at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre since 2004 and maintains active pedagogical engagements globally. Education: Bachelor's, Master's, and Postgraduate Studies in Art from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre Studied vocal performance under Professor Eduardas Kaniava Chamber singing with Lithuanian soprano Sigutė Stonytė Internship at Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre (2003-2004) with Professor Virgilijus Noreika Research and Performance Interests: Professor Staponkus focuses on Vocal Performance techniques, Chamber Singing interpretation, and Opera repertoire. His expertise is demonstrated through master classes at institutions like University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar, Mannheim University of Music, and Prague Academy of Performing Arts, emphasizing practical vocal artistry and stagecraft. Awards: Laureate of multiple international singing competitions Advising and Professional Impact: His students excel in major opera houses including Milan La Scala, Teatro Filarmonico di Verona, Staatstheater Karlsruhe, and Nederlandse Reisopera.
