Arnaud Ghillebaert

Arnaud Ghillebaert is an Associate Teaching Professor of Viola at the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance, where he has served as the viola instructor since Fall 2017. He is also the principal violist of the Eugene Symphony, Oregon Mozart Players, and Eugene Opera, and performs with Chamber Music Amici and microphilharmonic.

Professor Ghillebaert's research and performance interests center on Strings, Music Performance, and Viola. Additionally, as a founding member of the Elsewhere Ensemble, he created the role in "His Majesty the Devil" and is developing "Invocation," a work on violence and peace featuring Grammy award-winning baritone Kenneth Overton, with a premiere planned for Winter 2023.
