Zoltán Raffay is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Pécs, Hungary, since 2015. He previously held academic roles at Dunaújváros College (2007-2012) and served as acting director of the Institute of Economics and Tourism at the Illyés Gyula Faculty (2011-2012). His research focuses on the intersection of tourism with regional development, accessible tourism, and ecotourism.
- Education: Graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Pécs (1994) with qualifications in geography and English teaching, and tourism management. Earned a marketing manager degree from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Pécs (1997). PhD in Regional Policy and Economics (2004).
His teaching portfolio includes Tourism Marketing, Ecotourism, and Accessible Tourism at both BSc and MSc levels. He has collaborated internationally as an Erasmus teaching fellow and invited lecturer in Romania, Kazakhstan, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Raffay has supervised two PhD students and contributed to publications on tourism behavior and accessibility.

Raffay's recent publications emphasize accessible tourism, environmental consciousness in travel, and destination dynamics.
