Zhenbo Cao

Dr Zhenbo Cao is a Research Fellow in Molecular Biosciences at the University of Glasgow. His work is centered on redox biology, endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, protein oxidation, and antioxidant defense systems, with a focus on peroxiredoxins and methionine sulfoxide reductases.

His research explores how redox-dependent mechanisms regulate protein function in cellular compartments such as the ER. Key areas include:
