Zaneta Azuma-Kotei is a Lecturer in Accounting at Oxford Brookes Business School, Oxford Brookes University. She holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her research examines risk reporting, financial reporting, and corporate governance frameworks.
Teaching responsibilities include leading modules on Financial Accounting and Reporting, Raising Individual Financial Awareness, and Research in Accounting for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. She has received research funding from Oxford Brookes Internal Small Grant Scheme and Adam Smith Business School seed corn funding.
As an affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and member of the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA), she maintains active professional engagement. Current research investigates stakeholder perspectives on corporate risk disclosure practices.
